Notes arrive from three directions: sticky notes you leave yourself, comments from collaborators on the project, and comments from readers of a share link. The notes dashboard is the view that puts them together, so a pass through the notes is one pass, not three.
Where it is
Open the Notes tab in the right sidebar and choose All notes. The tab opens on This draft; the dashboard is the whole project.
What it shows
- Every note, with who left it and which scene it is on.
- Filters for open and resolved, for one person, and for your notes or your readers'.
- A count per scene, so the scene with nine notes is visible before you get to it.
Select any note to jump to its line; resolve it from the dashboard or from the page.
Working through notes
The usual pass is: filter to open, sort by scene, and go in order. When a batch of notes belongs in the script rather than beside it — a producer's page of typed notes, say — paste them into the Notes tab and run Organize Notes; it proposes where each one goes, and you confirm the placements.
