Questions writers ask
What is cue-practice mode?
It keeps the surrounding scene and other characters' dialogue but replaces the selected role's dialogue blocks with a YOUR LINE marker, creating a simple line-rehearsal prompt.
Can I remove action directions?
Yes. Turn off directions to keep character cues, dialogue, and parentheticals only. Keep them on when the physical context matters to the read.
Does Inkwell store the rehearsal packet?
No. Parsing, filtering, copying, and file creation happen locally in the browser. The source draft and generated text are not uploaded.

Sides
Excerpt pages of a script prepared for a specific day, audition, or work session — usually only the scenes and lines the actors or crew need, not the full book.
Character cue
The speaker’s name above a dialogue block, conventionally in uppercase — the label that tells the reader who is talking.
Dialogue
Spoken lines under a character cue. In Plot, a dialogue pass proposes changes, mostly to the spoken lines, that you accept or reject one at a time.
