Verified profiles
A closed profile remains useful for preparation and historical comparison, but it cannot drive a current submission. The official page always wins.
2026–2027 public portals
The current Nicholl pathway uses public submission partners rather than the former direct-entry competition. The 2026–2027 Black List and Writers Guild Foundation windows are closed.
Current platform contract
Black List hosting, paid evaluation, and opportunity opt-ins are separate decisions. Each named program adds its own eligibility, materials, and deadline.
2027 Development Track
Sundance's Development Track begins with an application packet and the first five screenplay pages, not a full-script upload. The 2027 application is closed.
2026 Script Competition
AFF's categories reached capacity before the 2026 late deadline. The reviewed rules require a blind-read PDF under 5 MB and category-specific lengths.
