Fountain-native — format without fighting the tool

Tab cycles element types. Type INT. and you are in a scene heading. Forced elements when you need them. Industry formatting happens in real time — no format panel between you and the page. Ghost completions accept with Right Arrow; page count, scene count, and character balance update as you write.

  2. Revise

    Revise before you send it out

    Ask about the scene, rewrite selected words, run a dialogue pass or continuity check in place, or give Agent Mode a scene or act goal. Review what it finds, and accept only the changes that serve the draft.

  3. Notes

    Freeze, apply, compare

    Save point: “Before studio notes.” Apply feedback; the comparison against the prior save point shows exactly what moved — scenes, dialogue, structure.

  4. Handoff

    Export without losing history

    FDX or production PDF for submission. Inkwell keeps the full save-point tree — the table-read version is never gone because someone kept typing.
