# Campaign session prep

## Adventure title

The lighthouse shines only inland

## The opening situation

The beam rests on the inn where the party is staying\. In its light, one packed bag sits beside an empty chair that is occupied in the real room\.

## People with conflicting wants

Keeper Hal\: Keep the light burning until it reveals where his missing partner went\.

Rin, the ferry pilot\: Extinguish it before frightened residents abandon the coast in a dangerous night crossing\.

## Meaningful choices

Follow the beam's sequence and find the departure it is trying to prevent\.

Turn the light back toward the sea and investigate the destination it has stopped marking\.

## Clues the party can find

\- The predicted rooms contain moved objects but no signs of violence\.
\- The keeper's partner signed a ferry ledger after the date of the supposed disappearance\.
\- A second lens beneath the tower points toward a harbor no current chart records\.

## What changes if nobody acts?

The beam begins lighting several homes at once\. The ferry fills faster than its pilot can check the weather\.

## Tonight’s scope and table agreements

One evening\: inn, ferry and lighthouse\. Establish the table's boundaries before using disappearance or family separation as personal material\.
