# Campaign session prep

## Adventure title

The dragon has filed a noise complaint

## The opening situation

The party is handed a clipboard and temporary mediation badges\. From the ridge, an enormous voice asks whether anyone has read attachment seven\.

## People with conflicting wants

Festival marshal Nima\: Keep the celebration running because its visitors pay for the winter bridge repairs\.

Sable\-of\-the\-Ridge\: Sleep through one afternoon without cannon rehearsals shaking the nursery cave\.

## Meaningful choices

Redesign the festival around quieter events and help the marshal keep visitors interested\.

Find a safe temporary venue, then negotiate who pays for the move and the bridge\.

## Clues the party can find

\- The loudest cannon is advertising a shop that closed years ago\.
\- The dragon has attended every previous festival in a much smaller shape\.
\- An old quarry has excellent shelter but belongs jointly to two feuding families\.

## What changes if nobody acts?

A self\-appointed hero arrives to solve the complaint with a sword\. Meanwhile, the dragon's exhausted hatchling discovers the festival drum\.

## Tonight’s scope and table agreements

One session\: festival, ridge and quarry\. Let practical plans work; the joke is the collision of needs, not making every solution fail\.
