# Incorporate

> Land a winning draft line onto the line you keep. Today the whole document moves. For one scene, use a take, or Agent Mode for a scene or an act; incorporate selected scenes is how the land is planned to get finer.

## In practice

Incorporate is how a winning full draft line becomes the draft you keep living in. Today the whole document lands on the line you named as the target — usually Main — and the source line is archived afterward. Plot opens a locked whole-document preview first; nothing has landed until you click Incorporate.

If you only need to try another joke, button, or act landing today, open a take on the scene, or run Agent Mode on the scene or act, then keep the winner. That is the path for a single scene or act today, while incorporate still lands the whole winning draft line after you preview it and click Incorporate.

Incorporate already names a save point on the landed draft — usually Incorporated plus the source line — so the room has a labeled baseline without a second save on the same pages. If a guide tells you to create another named save immediately after, skip it; identical content does not add a new moment.

## Common questions

### Can I incorporate only some scenes from a draft line?

Not today. Incorporate lands the winning draft line as a whole. For a scene-scoped experiment now, open a take or run Agent Mode on that scene, then keep the winner.

### What happens to the source draft line after incorporate?

The source line is archived after it lands on the target. Keep a save point beforehand if you still need a labeled copy of either side.

### When should I use incorporate versus a take?

Incorporate when a full parallel document should become the living draft. Use a take when the experiment is one scene and you want to promote locally.

### Is selective draft-line incorporate coming later?

Yes. Today the whole winning draft line lands; a take handles a single scene, and Agent Mode a scene or an act. Incorporate selected scenes is how that land is planned to get finer.
